One of Tampere's lovely neighbourhood lakes, where the evening light over the water makes everything feel calm and unhurried. A great spot for an evening walk along the shore, swimming in summer, or simply sitting by the water and watching the day wind down. There is also a public sauna by the lake, a true Finnish experience after a swim. In summer, the lake hosts rowing competitions that draw locals together by the shore.
